Aluminum Glass Railing Base RailOur Glass Base Rail System is defined by strength, offering simple installation, clean lines, and gorgeous views. The glass base rail system is made up of a slim yet sturdy piece of aluminum metal that runs along the bottom of the railing, providing a sturdy foundation for holding up each glass panel. The top of the glass panels can act as the handrail — so there’s no need to add a metal or wood handrail. However, our slender top cap compliments the aesthetic and can be added to the top of the panels, for a sleek, finished look. This provides additional stability and alignment for the panels in the system. The base rail comes in lengths of 4′ 6″ for interior systems and additionally 8′ and 12′ covers for exterior systems.
