Product Description
Spiral paper tube is a type of packaging material that is made by winding paper around a central mandrel in a spiral pattern. The thickness and diameter of the tube can vary depending on the intended use of the tube. For example, thicker tubes will require more layers of paper to achieve the desired strength and durability.
The manufacturing process of spiral paper tubes involves several steps. First, a continuous paper web is created using a process called wet laying or Fourdrinier papermaking. This involves spreading a thin layer of pulp onto a moving wire mesh screen, which is then pressed and dried to form a paper sheet. The paper web is then cut into strips of the desired width, and creases are formed along one edge of each strip to create a "Z" shape. The "Z" shaped strips are then glued together end-to-end using an adhesive, forming a continuous length of paper with alternating peaks and valleys. Finally, the glued paper is wound around a central mandrel, which rotates at high speeds as it pulls the paper off the supply roll and wraps it around itself in a spiral pattern.
