The Arrangement Pattern of tricone bit is very important for the drilling bits. Spiral ArrangementOn the tricone bit, the cutting teeth are usually distributed on the cones in a spiral arrangement. This arrangement allows the cutting teeth to break the rock evenly during the drilling process, avoiding the situation where some parts of the rock are over - broken while other parts are under - broken. The spiral arrangement can also reduce the vibration of the bit during drilling. Because when the cutting teeth are arranged in a spiral line, each tooth contacts the rock at different time and space positions, thereby dispersing the impact force during drilling and improving the stability of the bit. Dense - Sparse DistributionThe distribution of cutting teeth on the cones is not uniformly dense or sparse. Generally, in the main drilling areas such as the top and outer edge of the cone, the distribution of cutting teeth is relatively dense. This is because these areas are mainly responsible for the rock - breaking task during drilling. A relatively dense distribution of cutting teeth can improve the rock - breaking efficiency in these areas. In other areas of the cone, the distribution of cutting teeth is relatively sparse to reduce unnecessary materials and processing costs, and also to avoid mutual interference between the cutting teeth during the drilling process.
