Tungsten copper, we usually call it tungsten-copper alloy or W-Cu alloy, it is a composite material and has unique properties,it has two elements, tungsten and copper. Tungsten has high melting point and high density, superior thermal conductivity. Copper is a good material with excellent conductivity and thermal conductivity. They are alloyed together with highly characteristies in various industries.
High thermal conductivity: Applications requiring effective heat dissipation.
High density: Useful in applications where weight is a critical factor, such as in aerospace components and sporting equipment.
Electrical conductivity: Tungsten copper alloy has good electrical conductivity, suitable for electrical applications like contactors and switches.
High temperature resistance: Applications in the aerospace and defense industries.
Erosion resistance: Tungsten copper alloy exhibits excellent resistance to cavitation and erosion, use in liquid-handling systems and hydraulic applications.
We produce it as per ASTM B702 standard, Copper-Tungsten Electrical Contact Material.
