Working medium: High salinity wastewater, and the composition is sodium chloride mainly;
Evaporation capacity: 3,500kg/hr;
Process flow: evaporator---> centrifuge, the mother liquor was burnt and the solids were treated outside;
Construction material: SS316L.
Project Description
The high salinity wastewater was from coal chemical industry, and it contains high salt content, high COD, and high hardness. TDS (total dissolved solids, a general term for inorganic and organic salts dissolved in water) can reach 3000mg/L, total hardness can reach 1500mg/L, COD value can reach 3000mg/L, and it even contains heavy metals as high as 50ppm. A triple-effect forced circulation evaporator is adopted for the high salinity wastewater treatment.
Process Technology
A triple-effect forced circulation evaporator was adopted for the high salinity wastewater treatment, and the overall process flow was: the high salinity wastewater was concentrated by a triple-effect forced circulation evaporator, and then the oversaturated liquor was transferred into a centrifuge for liquor-solid separation, and the solids separated were treated in further, and the mother liquor were burnt.
Equipment Description
1 set of triple-effect forced circulation evaporator is adopted, which is able to meet the following demands:
1). The high salinity wastewater is concentrated from over-saturation;
2). All components in the plant are well designed to ensure safety in production.
3). The forced circulation evaporator system can effectively prevent the blocking risk of heat exchange tubes caused by high concentration of solids, and can slow the formation of scaling on the heat exchange surface at the mean time, improve the heat transfer efficiency, increase the continuous operation time of equipment, and reduce the cleaning frequency;
4). The main configuration of the plant is as below:
a. One set of triple-effect forced circulation evaporator;
b. One set of centrifuge and mother liquor collecting system;
c. One set of heat recovery system recovering condensate water;
d. One set of PLC control system.
